The HBX reel is one of Hardy's premium reels as they didn’t leave out a single scenario in its design. The All Water Series reels (AWS) are equipped with a stronger drag system with a maximum capacity of 15lbs hits quite a mark compared to other premium reel manufacturers. Perfect for when targetting the larger fish such as bonefish, permit, GT and tarpon. A closed drag means a closed drag! These reels are also ideal for salmon and steelhead especially as the closed reel cage ensures thin running lines can’t slip through.
