A Jensen NOMAD Wading Jacket

Designed for fresh and saltwater, hence the redesign or removal of certain features that would not stand up to saltwater.  Some of the features, for example, the removal of exposed zippers to the front pockets (they are always the first to jam due to salt) being replaced with Velcro instead - faster, stronger and lasting for many years.  The main front zipper is a waterproof YKK zipper, with a Velcro closure storm flap.

In the front there are two big main pockets.  One of these pockets has a flap in front of the pocket which opens and is covered in a long fibered synthetic section which is perfect for keeping your flies.  Flip the front back in position to secure and store away.

Behind the front pockets are two fleece covered Napoleon pockets for warming your hands on cold days.  Two inner pockets for small gadgets – both closed by water repellant YKK zippers.  On the inside of the pocket cover, is a holder for small braided line scissors or pliers.  Stowed away so as not to get in the way of casting.

In the back is a big pocket which opens from the side with a well functioned Velcro solution closure.  Just above the backpocket is a D ring for your net.  A big adjustable hood provides protection against those grey and wet days, plus nice soft kayak type cuffs for secure closure.
