Greys Kite Switch Double Handed Fly Rod

The Greys Kite Switch Double Handed Fly Rods are a versatile range of high-performance rods that are the perfect middle ground between a single handed and double handed fly rod.  These rods are the perfect choice for the angler fishing smaller rivers or in low water conditions.

The Kite range of rods have been constructed with Toreon technology, which incorporates a resin that has been infused between the carbon fibres of the rod blank.  This unique technology is much stronger than traditional carbon fibre and helps to create a much lighter blank helping reduce the weight.

These rods feature a medium to fast through action which makes them perfectly suited to both the beginner and experienced alike.  The Kite Switch Fly Rods feature highly responsive blanks that provide incredible feedback during the cast giving you ultimate loop control, ideal when performing two handed casts.

Each rod is fitted with high quality lined stripper guides on the lower sections with single leg snake guides throughout.  The top section is finished with a high quality hard chrome tip ring which is incredibly smooth and durable allowing your line to shoot through with ease.  The snake guides are designed to help keep your fly line away from the rod blank during the cast, helping reduce friction which will generate higher line speeds giving you increased casting distance.

The Greys Kite Switch Fly Rods are fitted with AAA grade high quality cork handles for ultimate grip and a long lasting professional finish.  Each rod features a short extension handle on the end of the reel seat allowing you to utilise the rod with double handed casts.

Each rod is finished off with a high quality down locking alloy reel seat which features a keyed sliding band for easy use and dual locking nuts to keep your chosen reel secured in place.  The rod sections all feature line up ID markers so you can precisely assemble your rod before commencing fishing allowing you to quickly identify if your rod sections are lined up correctly.

The Kite Switch Fly Rods come supplied in a protective cloth rod bag and hard tube for the ultimate protection when storing or travelling.  Each rod is a 4 piece configuration and the rod blank is an aesthetically pleasing black/grey colouration with black whippings and trim throughout.
